Fresh vs Store Bought

Juicer With a Glass of Fresh Orange Juice

Without a doubt, fresh is the way to go!

When it comes to juice, I will always drink freshly made juice. Store purchased juice is a distance second.

I do try to make a very conscious effort to continually increase the amount of natural food that I eat. At the same time, I try to reduce the amount of processed food that I eat. I am very good at achieving that goal in the morning. The evenings are sometimes a different story. The reason I try to eat more natural food is pretty simple. It is better for you and it helps you to lose weight.

Think about this for a moment, why are we just about the only species that continually thinks that we can improve on nature by altering out foods? We strip out many of the benefits and nutrients of our food only add them back in later in the processing of the food. We are a species that as we increase our consumption of processed foods, we also increase the occurrence of a whole host of diseases that we suffer from. Why is that?

I drink fresh juice that I have just made in the morning for a number of reasons. First, the juice has not been altered in any way. Therefore, all the nutrients and enzymes that are so important go right into my system. I drink the juice slowly on an empty stomach. That way the juice is digested in an extremely short period of time. I will not have anything else for about 30 minutes.

Secondly, the fresh juice also helps to cleanse my system. I feel energized and ready to take on the day.

The reason I don’t like store bought juice is simply because it has been altered. It has been pasteurized and many of the nutrients and enzymes have been destroyed. It also has an extremely high acidic content. Watch the video that explains the benefits of drinking fresh juice. You will be surprised.

Feeling better, feeling more energized and helping you to lose weight should be more than enough to convince you to start juicing in the morning. If that isn’t enough, take note that the more foods that you consume in their natural state, the healthier your skin and hair will be. It takes me less than 5 minutes in the morning to make juice for Rhonda and myself.

Now to make juice, you will need a juicer. I have several. The juicers and the blenders that I use most often are also the least expensive ones that I have purchased. I highly recommend that you get this blender and this juicerto start making and drinking fresh juice. You will feel the difference right away! So when it comes to fresh vs store bought, the answer is fresh.
