Proof Positive!

Christine Auer

Let me introduce you to Christine Auer.

She was born in August of 1960. She will turn 50 this year.

So again, you cannot use age as an excuse not to look great.

Christine is a trainer who trains people over 40 years of age.

I have asked Christine and she agreed to write guest posts for “Fitness Over 50″. I am looking forward to getting the imput of someone who is obviously very successful and knowledgeable about getting and staying in shape. I think you can benefit from her knowledge too. Expect her 1st post sometime during the 2nd half of June.

Since a good portion of my readership is made up of women, many of you may want to contact her directly through her website at ” Over 40 Fitness”. If you are thinking of hiring a trainer to help you get started or get you to the next level, Christine might be the trainer for you. Christine loves to work with people over 40.

If you are a Facebook fanatic, you can find Christine at “Over 40 Fitness With Coach Christine” or “Over 40 Fitness Guru”. You will have to log into your Facebook account first. Then you should be able to link to Christine.

Here a few more photos of Christine. It really is truly amazing how good the body can look even has one gets older. It’s too bad most people seem to be hell bent on destroying their bodies and suffering through one sickness after the other. Christine is proof that it doesn’t have to be that way.

I wanted to profile Christine for two reasons. One to show everyone that as you age, you do not have to forgo your health, you do not have to live with a body that is out of shape and preventing you from enjoying life to the fullest. I think it is fair to say that Christine never has to exclude activities from her life because she doesn’t have the strength to do a certain activity.

The second reason I profiled Christine is because of her determination, her drive and her belief in her herself. A toned, strong figure like she has does not happen overnight nor can you walk into a doctors office and come out looking like that. Her drive for excellence is to be applauded. Frankly, I couldn’t be more impressed.

Again, remember Christine was born August 1960, so she turns 50 this year. Now I know most of you aren’t interested in going to her level, but you are interested in improving your level of health and fitness. Hopefully, you use Christine as an inspiration.

  1. Peter, Thanks for the positive profile. i will be 50 next week (Aug 5). I am i so grateful for my excellent health, but my excellent health is not a given – I’ve earned it! i exercise regularly, eat real whole foods, and maintain a positive outlook no matter what happens in life. i, like just about everyone else i know my age and older, has had my fair share of major downs in life, but i do not hold on to anger, resentment, guilt or any other negative emotion. Negative emotions are POISON to the body and soul. i discovered very early in life to recognize and accept that EVERYTHING is life is temporary whether good, bad or otherwise. i recognize that my good heath is a GIFT and that i must respect it and NOT take it for granted. i will NOT be young forever. As my wise, HEALTHY, 85 year old MOM told me more than 35 years ago, “Dear daughter, you will live in your body for the rest of your life so you may as well learn how to take care of it!” Those wise words ego in my ears daily as does my father’s advise to “Eat real food.” A healthy, happy, life IS easy to attain and maintain. It all starts with a HEALTHY ATTITUDE!

I love this post. As a body builder myself (not as active in the hobby as Christine) I know how much work and commitment it takes to look like that. Also, appreciate her willingness to go public. The women in body building sometimes get a bad rap. Anyone can be healthy at any age and taking care of yourself is key. Your biggest asset in life is your body! You should treat it as such. I am including it in the blog carnival: http://www.BestBlogReview.com Your article has good value to the reader and makes some real life points that everyone can take to heart! (my body building pics can be found at the link I put in the “link category” Click on my name to see them.) I am not even close to Christine! Thanks, Deb
