If you are only at the walking stage and refuse to go to the gym, then use these!
Ankle and Wrist weights are great for helping to strengthen and tone the arms and legs.
You can kill two birds with one stone when using these. Lose weight and tone while walking. So buy some today and use them.
Some people just hate the gym and never develop a liking for the place. Some people just hate to workout and exercise. For those that fall into this camp, you need to at the very least walk briskly for at least 30 minutes a day. If you add the wrist and ankle weights while walking you can still get a pretty good workout in 30 minutes. Even wearing them while walking around the house will make a huge difference.
Just strap the weights on your wrist and ankles and off you go. Both are available in a variety of styles and weight. They are fairly cheap too. Rhonda and I use them when we walk the dogs. Rhonda loves them because they help her tone her upper arms. After all, with summer being here, its important to have sexy looking arms in those sundresses. So she uses them every time she walks.
If you are a golfer, which I suspect many of you are, using ankle and wrists will help you improve your golf game. Since they help to strengthen your arms and legs, you will be able to hit the ball further with more accuracy. I am guessing you are looking for ways to improve your game, so give these a try.
There are an absolute ton of ways to use these weights. Reebok has a series of excellent short videos that illustrate how you can effectively use these weights. Regardless of your current fitness level, you can do these exercises.Take a look.
Regardless whether you go to the gym or not, I recommend you use wrist and ankle weights. As I mentioned above, wear them around the house and you will notice a positive difference in a relatively short period of time.
Be sure to check out the various Reebok videos that show you how to do the exercises. You won’t be sorry that you did.
So, if you aren’t into going to the gym, at least get out there, walk and use the wrist and ankle weights.
